One standard, many formats: EN 16931
Anyone issuing invoices in Europe today has to deal with a lot of technical requirements. The European standard EN 16931 defines what an electronic invoice must contain – from the invoice number and tax IDs to the VAT breakdown.
Every country implements the standard in its own format. XBillr knows them all: you pick the customer and the format, and XBillr takes care of mandatory fields, validation, and the correct technical implementation.
ZUGFeRD
A PDF with an embedded XML invoice – readable by humans and machines alike.
